JTNN Helping the detox doctor malibu Fight Drug Use in the Hispanic Community
JTNN understood the needs of Nevadas Hispanic community in its fight against drug use with detox malibu, specifically relating to alcohol and methamphetamine. Having successfully built a coalition in the Reno area to reduce substance use, JTNN staff felt they could assist other communities in addressing the benefits of opiate detox malibu. challenges by applying the lessons learned in establishing their successful effort in Reno. Through the DFC Mentoring Program, JTNN recruited other established community coalitions and approached five Spanish-speaking communities with an offer to help them build community coalitions. The combined communities cover an area of 17,362 square miles. A total of 424,112 persons of Hispanic descent reside in this target area, more than 100,000 are under age 18. The Project Director works with each of the coalitions to set up individualized strategies to engage the Hispanic community.
